Xero Pricing Plans to Change from September

Xero Pricing Plans to Change from September

J Sweeney’s software partner Xero, which forms the basis of our cloud accounting services, is changing its pricing plans from 12th September 2024.

Xero Price Plan Updates

The former tiers of Starter, Standard, Premium and Ultimate have now been replaced by new tiers, which are designed to give more access to key features without the need for add-ons.

Payroll and expense functions are so important for the continued running of a business. Therefore, more plans now include them.

New Xero Pricing Plans

  • Xero Ignite – accounting basics for those starting their business journey
  • Xero Grow – accounting tools for those looking to grow their business and self-employed people
  • Xero Comprehensive – easy to use accounting and payroll for those looking to pay their employees
  • Xero Ultimate – the full suite of Xero tools, including accounting, payroll and forecasting tools allowing businesses to scale

These new tiers allow businesses to get more of the features they need within their plan. This includes multicurrency capabilities, Xero Expenses and Xero Analytics Plus.

Existing subscribers will be moved to new plans in a phased approach from 12th September 2024, with more details to be forthcoming. All customers will receive at least 60 days’ notice of their plan changing.

For customers being moved to plans with more features for a lower price, Xero are prioritising moving these customers and they will be migrated to a new plan by February 2025. For those who would see a feature decrease or a price increase when migrating, they will not be moved until September 2025 to give them ample time to find a plan that suits them.
