If you’ve seen our social media page you’ll have seen us post about how much we love Xero online accounting. Making tax digital, the new HMRC initiative designed to make sure the UK tax system is efficient and effective for both tax payers and the government, only strengthens our passion for cloud accounting.
From 1st April 2019 all VAT Registered businesses above the VAT threshold of £85k must keep their records digitally. To begin with, HMRC is enforcing that VAT returns must be submitted using a compatible software, no longer using the HMRC web service.
However, VAT is just the start! HMRC also then plans to roll out a new initiative which will mean income tax and corporation tax will head in the same direction
How will we take this HMRC pain away?
Xero online accounting is our answer; converting your records to a cloud accounting system, training you on how to use it, saving you admin time and giving you real time information and planning capabilities.
All current and prospective clients that require software from 1st April will get a hands-on approach to the change. One of our team will ensure that your staff are fully trained and ready to go before it’s too late. If there is an element that is not understood, our team are always on hand remotely to help; another benefit of a cloud-based system.
What makes us different?
Our team have been using Xero online accounting for years (before it was even popular!). We are trained and certified and have partner status direct from Xero. You will receive a personal approach with the team at J Sweeney Accountants. When your Xero is up and running we can produce various levels of management reports to help push your business onto the next level.
